The world needs more Andriys. I'm so sad to read about his passing. Wishing all your loved ones strength and wisdom. 

I knew Andriy since the time he was in Rockstart. I was always impressed by his constant energy and willingness to make a positive impact. He was always full of optimism and new bright ideas.I enjoyed a lot our conversations, Andriy’s way of thinking and his attitude to life.

There is a million things I wish i said right now, but if you could read this right now, I want to say: "thank you for teaching me values and the true meaning of doing good". You have inspired so many people with your drive and passion for making impact. It was a privilege knowing you even if our moments together were brief.

Dear Andriy and to all those that loved him. Shmyhelskyy, as we lovingly called him at Rockstart, was a singular, special person. Everybody knew him and loved him. Of course his little Hyko was an eye catching product, but also his joy and his dedication were palpable.
He was the first person ever to receive the startup visa, a process we worked through together very closely, and we ended up with a fotoshoot in the yearly IND magazine.
Whenever we thought we hit the end of a road there was also always One More Thing we would try. And this is how he lived then: always taking one more step, never giving up. I will remember him and his persistence for the rest of my life. Rest in peace ❤️ 

Dear Andriy. I can't believe it's true. We have not seen each other last years but I will remember you as a kind and energetic human being. The world will miss you.

We have worked together at Hyko when the team was at the Rockstart headquarters on the Amsterdam canals and managed to kept in touch until the first year of the war in Ukraine.

Your energy seemed never ending. Your spirit will continue to live through, as you touched the lives of so many families.

No, this is a total shock. I loved Andriy❤️ I went school with him in Norway when he took his Master's degree. I really loved his humour and personality. It's been some years since I've seen him but this was very sad news. My heart and thoughts are with you and the rest of your family. I wanted to say something because he really made an impression on me in a good way. He was such an awesome guy❤️ 

Oh Andriy! I am so sad to hear your news. My heart goes out to your daughter who I never had the pleasure to meet, and of course your family and friends. We met in London when you were working on Hyko and then again in Amsterdam and Cologne with Better Time Stories. You will always be an amazing spirit who lived his short life to the fullest.
